The show was a sequel to ”Girls Planet 999,” but with male contestants. On April 20, the live grand finale of “Boys Planet” was held, which had the K-pop reality show contestants’ fans on edge. And it was confirmed during the show that the new Mnet group would consist of nine members. Although the ranking derived from the final vote left several of us surprised, like Zhanghao’s position being within the TOP 9, the results were as expected. Out of the original 98 participants of “Boys Planet”, only nine trainees secured the dream of joining the new K-pop group. The final distribution showed us that six members of ZEROBASEONE are Korean. And only three are from the global team. We will now present the ranking of the winners and who gets to be a part of the ZEROBASEONE group!

#1: Zhanghao

He is a trainee from the Yuehua agency. And he was born on July 25, 2000 (22 years old). His ranking was 7-7-5-4-2-2-1.

Hanbin is from the Studio Gl1de company. And he was born on June 13, 2001 (21 years old). Hanbin was number 1 throughout the entire competition except for the final vote.

#3: Seok Matthew

Matthew is a trainee of Group G. And is under the agency of MNH Entertainment. He was born in Canada on May 28, 2002 (20 years old). His initial ranking was 32, but he later moved up. His progress was 32-5-2-3-4-9-3.

And Ricky is also a trainee from the Yuehua agency. He was born on May 20, 2004 (18 years old). And he represented China in “Boys Planet.” He first entered the TOP 9 in episode 11, and secured his debut in the final.

Gunwook is a Jellyfish Entertainment trainee with two and a half years of training. And he was born on January 10, 2005 (18 years old). Little by little, he rose in the ranking in “Boys Planet.” And this is his progress: 15-10-10-11-9-12-5.

With the list of winners already finalized, ZEROBASEONE is a group ready to debut.

However, there was also a ranking for those who were eliminated. Jay Chang, an international contestant, fell out of the TOP9 by a single spot! While PENTAGON‘s Hui ranked 13th. Park Hanbin ranked 11th, Keita 12th, Kum Jun Hyeon 14th, Lee Jeong Hyeon at 15, Yoo Seung Eon at 16, Na Kamden at 17, and Yoon Jong Woo at 18.

When Will ZEROBASEONE Debut?

BOYS PLANET: Details on Project Group Name and Winners! The winners have already been revealed, and the group name will be ZEROBASEONE, abbreviated as ZB1. However, the exact date of ZEROBASEONE’s debut is unknown. What is known is that the new boy band will appear at KCON Japan 2023, an event that will be held on May 13 and 14, 2023. Also, the group will have the classic duration of two years and six months before disbanding.
